Q. By what process did you receive the
Messages in The Collective Awakening?
A. Upon entering a
relaxed state while sitting at my computer keyboard, which includes
letting go of my conscious thinking mind, I am able to receive these
Messages (allow them to come through me) from my nonphysical guides
and teachers through a process of "automatic typing."

Q. Your book uses the words "psychic"
and "channeling." But I was raised to believe these sorts of things
(and the people who practice them) are "evil."
A. I have great
compassion for that point of view because I, too, was raised with
such beliefs. People fear what they don't understand. There is
nothing "evil" about these processes, and you will see them becoming
more and more mainstream over the next several years. The Bible
itself affirms that we are "gods," that we are intuitive, powerful
beings. We are born psychic. "Channeling" is nothing more than using
this inborn ability in a focused manner.

Q. Can you receive these Messages
anytime you want?
A. As of yet, no. At
times, a certain "feeling" will come over me, indicating I am ready
to receive a Message. Other times, I'll sit at my keyboard, enter a
relaxed state, and request guidance. Sometimes the guidance comes,
other times I'll get nothing whatsoever.

Q. Why are the Messages all in
lower-case letters, and with very little punctuation?
A. That is simply how
the Messages arrived. To preserve their authenticity, every effort
was made to leave them untouched. With very few exceptions (such as
spelling errors due to the rapid speed of the automatic typing), the
book presents these Messages exactly as they were received.

Q. Some of the Messages in The
Collective Awakening seem highly personal. What compelled you to
share them?
A. In all honesty, the
thought of sharing some of these Messages scared me more than I'd
care to admit. But I wanted to be a living example of being
gut-honest and completely real. Part of the awakening process is
realizing we don't need to go through life pretending, wearing masks
and trying to present a perfect image. Why should I hide the fact
that, even after 16+ years on the spiritual path, I still have
moments when I feel insecure, struggle with repeating patterns, or
go into dark depressions? I wanted people to see that if someone
like me can receive higher guidance, anyone can. You don't
have to reach some imaginary level of enlightenment to begin. You
need only be willing and receptive.

Q. Does The Collective Awakening
need to be read in any particular order?
A. Yes and no. I highly
recommend reading the Foreword and the Introduction first, before
moving on to the section called The Messages. But once there, you
can skip around all you like, or use the Index in the back to look
up topics of interest.

Q. What are the little numbers
throughout the Messages?
A. The numbers
correspond to the Footnotes section in the back of the book.
Although the Footnotes are optional, they give the background and
interpretation for each Message. Many readers have told me the
Footnotes were their favorite part of the book.

Q. Since the Messages in The
Collective Awakening were meant for you and your own life, what
does this book have to do with me and my life?
A. The Messages in
The Collective Awakening speak on topics everyone can relate to.
They will help you take your spiritual path to a deeper level,
moving beyond study to actual experience. As with all spiritual
teachings, what you are able to get out of the book will continue to
expand as your level of awareness and your readiness to awaken
continues to expand. Take each Message in slowly, even using them as
meditations. In doing so, your awakening process will accelerate.

A. The Collective
